Halloween

Halloween was a blast as usual. It's so much fun when it's decent weather!

A few days before Halloween we carved our pumpkin that we got at Albertsons.

Then we remembered the U-Pick pumpkin place. Even though we had our pumpkin, we decided to head there for some cute pictures.

After the pictures we looked around and found that they had also grown cantaloupe, honeydew melon, watermelons, and farm fresh eggs! We just had to get some of each they were so good! And the eggs were much fluffier and lighter than store bought eggs!

Then the kids went through the free haystack corn maze and had some hot chocolate.

Halloween Day:

First we always stop as Grandma's office for some trick or treating and then chili from their office cook-off. Then we like to head to Boo at the Zoo.

Ashley wanted to enter the costume contest this year so we all went and entered instead of just sitting and watching. Emily won 2nd place in the 0-5 group, Evan waon 3rd place in the 6-10 group and Justin and I won 2nd place in the adult catagory! The kids got stuffed animals and all of us each got 4 tickets to the zoo next year!

Then we went home to pass out candy, and like always the kids seem to enjoy that just as much. They even fight over who gets to answer the door next!
